The Socotra dragon tree or dragon blood tree is a dragon tree native to the Socotra archipelago, governed by the Republic of Yemen and located by the Arabian Sea. It has a unique appearance, with an upturned, densely-packed crown resembling the shape of an umbrella. This evergreen species is named after its dark red adhesive resin, which is known as "dragon's blood". Monteverde USA® Dragon Tree is a substantial in size writing instrument that features distinctive red and blue resin designs, unified to create unique pattern combinations. Red signifies “Dragon Blood” resin and blue for the vast skyline the trees tower too. A solid walnut ring with polished chrome accents and clip adorn the cap. The barrel is tastefully engraved with the Monteverde USA® and Trees of the World logos, complementing the overall look. The Dragon Tree is available in fountain pen and ballpoint modes. The fountain pen is equipped with a stainless steel JoWo #6 nib engraved with the Monteverde USA® logo and fills via a standard cartridge or converter (included). The nib is available in Extra Fine, Fine, Medium, Broad, 1.1mm Stub, and Omniflex point sizes. The twist-action ballpoint pen accepts standard Monteverde USA® refills P1 and P4 (Parker® style). Each Monteverde USA® pen features a lifetime warranty and is sold in a luxurious gift box. We strive for your ultimate satisfaction. If you're not pleased with your order, we ask that you get in touch with us as soon as possible by phone or e-mail. If the item was damaged, incorrect or defective upon receiving the shipment, we will do our best to correct the issue at our expense.

To qualify for a refund, the item must be in the exact same, brand-new condition it was received, including the original packaging, plus any accessories, parts, and paperwork that came with the item. We cannot accept opened and used bottles of ink, ink cartridges, used notebooks, engraved pens or pen cleaning supplies. When you receive any new fountain pen, we recommend to inspect it thoroughly and if necessary, lightly dip the nib tip in washable ink to test it. Any pens that have been fully inked and used will incur a 15% restocking fee for preferential returns. Approval of all returns is subject to the discretion of Goldspot Pens, who reserves the right to decline refund requests if the product has been improperly used, damaged, modified or is otherwise unable to be resold.
