I am not a comics grader, but I try to be as thorough as possible when assessing books for any flaws. I don't believe in using a number grade system - to me they are mostly utilized as a method to be ambiguous about exact condition and/or individual imperfections - but I do attempt to describe anything other than minor cover shelf-scuffing/scratching in detail. If a certain flaw discussed below does not mention that it affects inside pages, then it does copy is in good condition, with a solid spine and excellent inside pages (photo#12 example). It has some mostly lighter signs of wear that primarily affect its externals, all described below.**Photo#4:-Upper spine corner: Light compression, light scuffing where it meets the front cover. Small indent where it meets the front cover nearby down the edge.
**Photo#5:-Lower spine corner:Very light scuffing.
**Photo#6:-Front cover top edge: ~1" depression/light scuff near spine corner that shows lightly on ~4 pages, 3 small scuffs towards the outer corner.-Outer corner: Small bend/very light indent around corner, tiny ding/scuff at extreme corner that goes thru ~1/3 pages as a light bend.
**Photo#7:-Front cover bottom edge: Light if any shelf-wear.-Outer corner: Light ~1" bend/very light indent around corner that shows on ~7 pages as a light indent, small horizontal scuff/bend around extreme corner that goes thru ~10 pages as a light bend.
**Photo#8:-Back cover top edge: ~1" scuff near the outer corner that shows lightly on ~5 pages, otherwise light if any shelf-wear.-Outer corner: Small crease/scuff/bend, goes thru ~5 pages as a tiny indent, and ~1/3 as a light bend.
**Photo#9:-Back cover bottom edge:Light if any shelf-wear.-Outer corner:Small scuff/bend/light indent around corner, passes thru most pages as a light bend.
**Additionally: Front cover's spine edge has a ~1" scratch/dirty mark near its upper corner, and a tiny indent near its middle. Very light horizontal ~2", ~3", and ~3.5" indents towards the cover's lower half. ~1" scratch near the center. Very light vertical ~4" indent near the top outer corner. Back cover possesses a similar but ~5.5" vertical indent near the top outer corner, 2 tiny dings near its page edge, and a small patch of light indents near the lower half. Some light horizontal scratches spanning most of the cover's width near the bottom edge, and some lighter shelf-scratching around the cover. Book has a light bottom outer quadrant style="font-size: 18.6667px;">
I both buy to read as well as sell TPBs on here, so I understand how aggravating it is to receive a comic damaged in transit. I always pack books firmly between pieces of cardboard (among other materials/layers) via Gemini Comic mailers or bubble mailers depending on size; usually utilizing boxes for larger lots. If you have any questions or would like any additional photos, feel free to let me know.I'm always happy to combine shipping costs - either message me before completing purchase for a pre-payment price adjustment, or alternatively I can provide a refund afterwards. Thanks, and have a spectacular day!
