Molybdenum crucibles are mainly used in the metallurgical industry, rare earth industry, monocrystalline silicon and crystal growth. Molybdenum crucibles offered by MSE Supplies are made of 99.95% high purity Mo and are ideal for sapphire crystal growth and rare-earth melting. Powder processing is recommended before the calcination. MSE Supplies offer a variety of balling milling equipment and accessories for powder processing. Standard Products and Specifications Material: Molybdenum (99.95%) Melting point: 2630 ℃ Recommended fill rate: 67~75% Recommended use temperature: <1700 ℃, continuous heating above 1700 ℃ will shorten the crucible life time. Recommend to use under inert gas. Use under air will cause the oxidation and shorten the crucible life time.
