The battery spring coil on the battery cap is loose and can fall out if one is not careful when unscrewing the battery cap. May take more than once on power button to turn on. When we swapped out batteries the unit turned on and off as with the button required. We found if you placed new batteries and ensured the coil was placed correctly the unit turned on. The batteries would be replaced regularly and unit only tested to turn on, unit would shut off if the batteries were older as it seemed the unit was shutting off randomly and sometimes on its own. We can provide video link if customer requests with unit test and it turning on. Being used, thus will reflect wear and tear from use from an ACTUAL Soldier trained and deployed in support of the countries objectives over seas.
