Here's a shiny nice quart Millville Atmospheric Fruit jar with original 1861 dated glass lid and original iron yoke clamp in good working condition....... MILLVILLE ATMOSPHERIC FRUIT JAR emb bold on front... WHITALL'S PATENT JUNE 18TH 1861 emb on back... WHITALL'S PATENT JUNE 18TH 1861 bold emb on top of glass lid also.....Hand blown in mold....hand applied collar similar to waxsealer groove...aqua...round....quart....7 3/4"tall (9"to top of iron thumbscrew)....Excellent shiny nice condition with only a shallow 3/4"long chipped spot on the bottom edge of applied neck ring; a couple small surface scratches. no other damage to jar. A nice clean jar. Glass lid has some chips on the edge .Iron clamp with nice working condition thumbscrew ...A great looking early fruit jar with nice embossing....
