MARILYN MONROE in 1950; 20th Century Fox had signed her up, a year earlier, asNorma Jean Dougherty(the name of her first husband) at 75 dollars a week. the studio asked her tochange her name, she suggestedMonroe, her mother's maiden name, the studio added the Marilyn.She was cast in a film entitled "Scudda Hoo, Scudda Hay", and given one word to say- "Hello". But eventhis bit was snipped out of the film before it was released. J.119. 6 aug 62.Also present is the original London Express News credit stamp located under the caption, in purple ink.
