Variations are important when collecting old bottles. Here are two miniature whiskey flasks from the early 1900s.
One stands 3 ¾” tall and 2” wide. This is the more common bottle with the neck ring and double ring lip. We dug lots of these.
The other one is unique. It is 4 ¼” high and just over 2” wide. It’s an odd variation. No neck ring. This one has a messy flaw on the base so it doesn’t sit flat and rocks a little.
Both have been out in the sun for the same amount of time and the odd one is turning amethyst at a much quicker pace. You need this variation but the price is for both. They are in dug condition with some haze but there is no damage.
