I have tried my best to correctly identify the shells I am selling, but it is possible that I have made mistakes. It is sometimes difficult because of a range of color and/or shape within a species. As an example, an article in the April 1964 and September 1964 issues of Hawaiian Shell News describes how Voluta Damoni gradually changes along it 3000 mile coastal range from almost no color pattern to a very colorful pattern. Also. several species have sub species with a lot of variation. The sizes I list are approximate. The shells you will receive are the shells in the photos with this listing. I have 6 books that I use to find the name for some of the mollusks I have forgotten the names of. I also use this website: set of shells can be shipped to most countries.
