Lot 2 Pearly Pink Hand-painted China Bell-shaped Trinket Box and Egg on Stand Roses.Both pieces are hand-painted by the same person in the late 1980s. I purchased the set at a craft show in the Watergate building in Washington DC. The Bell-shaped lid never had a ringer, it was just meant as the lid to the trinket box. The Egg has a raised heart made with an Asian influenced embellishments. The trinket box base is 3\" in diameterand 4\" tall. Where the bell meets the base, the rim does not have glaze. Inside the box is a bisque finish. The Egg is 4\" tall and 3.5\" diameter. On the ceramic stand, it stands 6.5\". The set is in excellent used condition--no chips, cracks or repairs.
