This Very Large Statement Piece is made from a light wooden body covered in very intricate hand tooled leather pieces. It is a Beautifully done Tropical Hornbill bird. Made by Frederico in Mexico In Mid-Century 1950\'s-1960\'s. (Stamped on underside of tail). The bird rest on a brass perch which hangs from a nice solid thick chain. This is a high quality well made item and the hornbill in particular was a rarely made item compared to the more widely made toucans and parrots. So this is a very unique and special item to ass some unique decor to your home.
