All rights reserved.Striking Dion Pears limited edition print depicting racing action Spa during the 1966 Belgian Formula 1 Grand Prix, with John Surtees leading the way in his Ferrari. Behind him is Jochen Rindt in his Cooper-Maserati.Below the image are the noted British artist\'s signature in pencil, John Surtees\' signature in pen, and the edition #629/850. The piece is entitled \"My Favourite Race,\" perhaps because Surtees held on through torrential rain to win the race, and perhaps because the race was filmed for the movie, Grand Prix, and Surtees was featured on film.Measures 24\" x 30\" (62 cm x 77 cm) overall. In good condition with a bit of foxing along the upper left edge, a couple of soft corners, and some evidence of handling in the borders, especially along the sides. See photos for more detail. Note that the print has been rolled and flattened, and the sturdy stock on which it is printed has not fully relaxed, which is evident especially along the left side.Buy with Confidence
