HUMMEL #15/I - \"HEAR YE HEAR YE\"- 6 in - TMK-5 - The Last Bee 1972-79 - FABULOUS. This is a beautiful Hummel that was purchased in Europe in the late 1970\'s or early 80\'s by my Grand Aunt. It has the TMK-5 \"The Last Bee\" mark in addition to the incised number 15/I. It stands 6 inches from bottom of base to tip of trumpet. There are also two more markings: and etched #34 (which i believe to be the factory control number of the person who assembled the Hummel) and the initials \"Ch\" (I believe that is what they are), which may identify the Master Painteress, HERTA ENGEL. There is the MJ Hummel signature on the rear base and the original sticker identifying the name of the figurine \"Hear Ye, Hear Ye\". I could be wrong, and would ask anyone who knows better than I what the correct analysis is. There are no cracks, chipped parts or discoloration of any sort. There is slight Crazing visible on the underside base, which i have provided pictures of that is common for vintage porcelain. I also took pictures of every angle conceivable to get you a good look at this figurine. The colors are clear and bright while the details of the watch, scarf and lantern are exquisite. This sat in a display case for the past 40 years and might as well be as new as when it was created. There are 3 of 4 small felt pads on the underside which i did not want to remove, as I was not sure if they came with the figurine or not. I found the value to be around $170 (SEE IMAGES) so I believe I am offering this piece at a bargain price. I will of course consider FAIR and REASONABLE offers if presented to me. It will ship via USPS Parcel Select ground and will be insured for around a total of $9-10. I welcome comments response or questions.
