This product is a fully restored Griswold Cast Iron #8 Block Logo Long Rectangle Griddle 771. It is an antique piece made in the United States and is compatible with induction, electric, and gas stoves. The griddle is rectangular in shape and has a non-stick surface coating. It is made of cast iron and is a vintage collectible cookware item.
Fully & completely restored Griswold griddle. Soaked in a lye bath then placed in an electrolysis tank for 24 hours. Seasoned 3x with grapeseed oil and baked in an oven at 475* each time to establish polymerization. Griddle sits dead flat. Beautiful cooking surface. No cracks or chips and ready to put back into service. Measures approximately 19.75\" long from ends of handles & 10\" wide.
