Antique French M1874 Rifle Bayonet measuring 25-1/2" long overall with a blade length of 20-1/2". Blade retains over 75% original finish having some wear, age patina. two strong cartouches on the ricasso area, spine has St. Etienne 1878 arsenal markings. The guard and the scabbard both have the same serial No. of N66120 Excellent working press-stud. Scabbard shows scattered surface rust, age patina, and is dent free.
