Cretaceous Dinosaur Tooth

Featured in this listing is a tiny fossilised tooth of theropod dinosaur from the Kem Kem beds of Morroco. These teeth are quite common in the Kem Kem Beds, although there is some controversy as to which teeth they typically belong to. They are sometimes ascribed to an as yet undescribed dromeousaurid but others to abelisaurids.Either way, it is certainly a tooth from a carniverous theropod dinosaur that would have been a feared predator, albeit one that would have been dwarfed by the Spinosaur and carchardontosaurs that lived in the same area at the same time.
