Here we have a fine clean & restored Stanley Bailey No 3 Type 16, Ca 1933-41 Woodworking Plane that is ready to go.... The planes original black japanning is in spotty but in very good condition. The knob & tote have some typical scuffs from use & toolbox, but no cracks or repairs. The cutter is rust free, it has cleaned up well. I always suggest sharpening to get it back to an optimal cutting edge. It is marked with a Stanley notched Made in USA logo and measures: 7-1/4" x 1-3/4". There is a lot of life left to this cutter. The name Stanley is horizontal on the lateral adjustment lever. With its sturdy construction and reliable performance, it is perfect for both novice and professional carpenters.
