I reached out to Ed mid 90s, and ran this design by him, and asked him, if he can make it for me, and after several exchanges he said yes, but it is going to take him time to find the mother of pearl color and size I was asking for, and also  other materials he needed.

After 5 months, he called and informed me he is in the very last stage of building the knife, and he was very impressed by the way it looked, so he asked my permission to make 2 more of it, one for himself and one for his mom, which I agreed, so this became one of 3 he ever made.

I have never used this knife, and never cut anything with it, and it has been sitting in its leather case since new, therefore I have set the condition as NEW.

Since Ed passed away, there will be none like this, and for a collector with a keen eye for the very unique knife makes complete sense, or someone that likes extreme unique things like myself this make a perfect gift.

I hope to find a new home for this magnificent knife, and let someone else enjoy it for the next 40 or 50 years.
