These 12 Moonshine-type embossed Mason Jars and Mason Star Jars are now empty but some used to hold Ole Smoky liquor, and the ones with handles held jelly. These Ole Smoky jar bottles are some of the earliest production as shown by the label with 3 using the original Mason jar (Original, White Lightnin\', and Apple Pie), and 1 showing the transition using the original label with the custom \"Ole Smoky\" embossed jar (Apple Pie). Tennessee made moonshine legal in 2010 and Ole Smoky Distillery started producing moonshine for the public at that time. One year later, in 2011, saw the first television airing of \"MOONSHINERS\" on THE DISCOVERY CHANNEL with cameo appearances by the famous moonshiner the late Popcorn Sutton who died in 2009, and the regular cast which included Tim and also Tickle, who join the famous moonshine runner and NASCAR Hall of Fame legend Junior Johnson to be unforgettable. Johnson was arrested by the Feds at his father\'s moonshine still and convicted in 1956 spending 11 months in the Federal Penitentiary at Chillicothe, Ohio. He had much experience running moonshine in his 1940 Ford. Junior Johnson retired from racecar driving in 1966.He received a full pardon in 1985 by then President Ronald Reagan. These early Ole Smoky jars date from 2010, 2011, or 2012 as seen by their very basic labels. The factory cardboard shipping box dates from 2012 as shown on the box production label. Included is a plastic kitchen refrigerator magnet of a classic Hillbilly (or Mountain William !!) ceramic 2-tone \"little brown jug\" XXX-type moonshine jug with cork and finger loop, and a custom Ole Smoky pouring top, and 2 original factory wrapping papers from when the factory shipped the liquor in 2012. These will all be safely packaged in the distillery cardboard shipping box that is dated 2012 which will ALL then be safely placed inside of an outer shipping box. These are all HEAVY glass and shipping is Flat Rate. These very rare items will look great on display in a museum in Gatlinburg, Pigeon Forge, or Sevierville, Tennessee.....perhaps even in the sales room of the distillery or in YOUR home!!
