Early 1800s US Socket Bayonet - C.US Marked:

Early 1800's US Socket Bayonet.The only mark is on the blade shoulder "C.US".It is straight, has light pitting with surface rust scattered throughout, and has some edge nicks. Length of the blade measures 14 3/4" (1 1/16" wide x 3/8" thick) and the bayonet is 17 1/2". The socket is 2 3/4".The muzzle hole is 13/16" at the front and 7/8" at the backend".
