The last few days heatwave caused me to abandon the garden and sit with the Microscope and to produce a slide with 200+ was my target. I think it worked. The Diatoms are mounted in ZRAX, there are no air bubbles with no artefacts spoiling the arrangement. I tried hard to avoid duplication but notice there are circa six Diatoms with a duplicate. The chances of anything of this size will be on hold for a while, so if you want a top drawer slide this could be it.
