Dr. Jayne\'s Expectorantwas reported to be 15% alcohol, and contained ipecac, opium, and digitalis!!!

This approximately 150-year-oldbottle is a hand-blown, cork-top, light aqua, 6 5/8 inches tall bottle is invery good condition with a small chip in the ring top that does not affect theintegrity of the bottle (please see the close-up picture). One panel isembossed in all capital letters DR D. JAYNE’S and the reverse side is theunusual spelling of Philadelphia, PHILAD A (both underlined letters are raisedletters in smaller caps. The number 14 is on the base.
