While I try to accurately grade all comics and magazines, and have been selling since 1976 and on since 2001, I do not consider myself to be a professional grader. My response will show far more buyers happy with my unprofessional grading than unhappy. In the last year though, the perception of grading seems to vary even more widely. For example, I had a collector return 2 Marvel magazines I listed as F/VF saying they were not even in good condition. One was purchased the next month and the customer was very happy to report it slabbed as a 9.0! As a result, I ask that you offer according to your best evaluation of the cover scan, rather than my best estimate of the condition.

I do not grade the quality of each piece of the artwork in the items I sell. I have no idea how anyone could objectively do that, nor have I ever seen a dealer attempt that in 45 years. I also do not include a page count of how many pages each contributor wrote, penciled, or inked in my listings, nor have I seen other sellers do this. Aside from how time consuming that would be, I personally prefer to handle each item I list as little as possible so that it gets to you in the very best condition. Please offer accordingly.
