Rhodesian Selous Scouts

This is a nice reproduction of an originalcolor photograph from the Rhodesian bush war. The photo shows a group of Rhodesian Selous Scouts. These were very higly trained counter-insurgency troops who oftenposed as the insurgents they were hunting. They carried captured enemy weapons and dressed as insurgents, wandering about the tribal areas attempting to make contact with bands of insurgents. The whitescouts oftenpainted thier skin black, to appear as colored insurgents froma distance.
