It is new and never been used, re-sharpened or carried. It is 4 3/8 inches long (closed for folding knives) and weighs approximately 4.1 ounces. The blade material is Damascus Steel. Damascus Steel is made by forging & folding together hundreds of layers of hard & soft steel, and then etching them with acid. The acid dissolves the layers at different rates resulting in a visible pattern on the steel. The alternating layers give more flexibility & toughness to the steel, and the hard & soft in the edge act much like micro-serrations that aid cutting. The contoured handle is Black Canvas Micarta with a Superlock, weight reduction milling, and a reversible tip-up pocket clip/lanyard hole. It comes with a Limited Lifetime Warranty. This knife is presented with a Storage Pouch and Microfiber Cleaning Cloth.
