This is a rare, high quality, large Campo Del Cielo meteorite that has been analyzed (its chemical composition has been confirmed) and authenticated by a meteorite expert. It has many nice large regmaplypts (dimples) with remnants of fusion crust which further enhance the aesthetic appeal of this meteorite. It would make a wonderful addition to any meteorite collection.

This fragment originates from the Campo Del Cielo meteorite strike. The Campo Del Cielo strike was a notable impact event that occured approximately 3000-5000 years ago about 1000 kilometers north-west of Buenos Aires, Argentina.
