This is a low grade item. The story will be complete and readable, but the item itself will have major defects. Allowed defects for this grade include: vertical book-length crease, spine split up to two inches long, detached cover or centerfold, writing or other marks on the cover, major tears, piece or pieces missing, water damage, heavy discoloration or brittleness due to oxidation, and other types of discoloration, staining, or brittleness.

Cover by Matt Baker and Ray Osrin. Stories and art by Walter Johnson and Jack Cole. Pre-Code crime comics from St. John with an above-average lineup of artists. This issue was mentioned in the illustrations for the anti-comics classic Seduction of the Innocent. The cops close in on Tony "The Human Cat" after his latest home invasion. The following line from the Human Cat's girlfriend was singled out by Fredric Wertham as "An invitation to learning" in Seduction of the Innocent: "Where ya goin' on a night like dis, Tony? Ya ain't gonna shoot anybody with dat rod, are ya?" Red Keenan's gang goes on a spree of murder and robbery, in a violent story with art by Plastic Man creator Jack Cole. The Mounties close in on the deadly Kurulak brothers in the Great White North. Cover by good-girl art legend Matt Baker.
