Russian language book titled Soyuz and Apollo and SIGNED by 13 US Astronauts and Russian Cosmonauts! This was won at sale from a reputable sale house so there is no doubt as to the authenticity: Ira & Larry Goldberg Coins & Collectibles (established company, lots of info on them on-line). Won on April 19, 2014, Part of Lot 998. Hard cover book IN RUSSIAN LANGUAGE, published in Moscow and dated 1976 with 270+ pages. There are 13 signatures (looks like 14 but I think one of them is a printed version of Cosmonaut Vitaly Sevastyanov’s signature). The ones I can make out appear to be from the Apollo–Soyuz Test Project of 1975. Included are (I believe, some are difficult to make out) Deke Slayton, Alexei Leonov, Vitaly Sevastyanov, Valeri Kubasov, Ryanzantsev, Krylova and MAYBE Thomas Stafford, Aleksei Yeliseyev (or maybe Nikolai Rukavishnikov?) and others. Page 11 has two postage stamps affixed to it, one from the Maldives with a space theme and the other a US First Man on the Moon stamp. They have been postmarked October 4, 1977, which must be a date of importance for this book and/or these signatures (perhaps the 20-year anniversary of the Soviet Union launching the first artificial satellite?).

Page 11 has two postage stamps affixed to it, one from the Maldives with a space theme and the other a US First Man on the Moon stamp. They have been postmarked October 4, 1977, which must be a date of importance for this book and/or these signatures (perhaps the 20-year anniversary of the Soviet Union launching the first artificial satellite?). Minor blemishes and minor wear with a bit more wear and some light scuffing to cover edges. Binding is firm. Historic item! Very good plus condition for the age!
