This is one of my favorite designs. A lighthouse on a rocky outcropping next to the sea, with a couple of sailboats racing by. Get a load of the size of that anchor. In color! And in a very unusual right angle, \"corner\" configuration. I can\'t think of another set that is like it.
No maker\'s mark (there would have been a foil label on the bottom) but definitely made by Kronheim & Oldenbusch. Ca. 1930.
Condition is challenged. One piece has a big crack at the base of the lighthouse; the other, a crack (or scratch) on the back (see last 3 pics). Otherwise, no damage. Paint is original, showing some chipping on the white sails. They sit flat and stable.
5 5/8 inches tall; 5 1/4 inches across facing the lighthouse; 4 inches facing the sailboats. Combined weight is 5 1/4 pounds.
Perfect gift for the enthusiast of the America\'s Cup competition.
