This is an extremely RARE Antique EDISON LAMP BOX Light Bulb Wood Advertising Crate from the Early 1900's.

An unusual and rare piece of Christmas light history! A similar one is in the Smithsonian Institute as it is a piece of American history because this box contained the first set of lights offered for sale to the public by the Edison company. It meaurues 13” L x 5.5" W x 6” H. The sides are dovetailed. Condition is good. There is some discoloration and wear. But overall it is an outstanding item for any serious Christmas collector!
