A late 19th century German oak repeater mantle clock with Westminster chime

Winterhalder and Hofmeier

Having a 6-inch silvered dial with black Roman hours and black Arabic minutes, subsidiary strike silent and slow-fast dials, mottled brass centre and applied gilt foliate spandrels, the triple-train movement, outside countwheel-striking the quarter hours on five coiled gongs, stamped "W & H Sch", the architectural case with reticulated sound frets to the sides, crested pediment above twin Corinthian pilasters, on a stepped plinth base and block feet (sold with pendulum plus winder)

It’s in full working order and measures 43 cm high by 20 cm deep and 31 1/2 cm at widest and in beautiful condition
