The original series ofGladiators ran for 7 seasons in sydication from 1989 until 1996. Itwas the first Gladiators series in the world and was recorded atUniversal Studios Hollywood and later CBS Studio Center. It washosted by Mike Adamle with Joe Theismann, Todd Christensen, LarryCsonka, Lisa Malosky and Dan 'Nitro' Clark. The show was refereed byLarry Thompson and Bob McElwee.
