Super-scribe JONATHAN HICKMAN continues his newly-started run on Avengers (and the story that will eventually culminate in 2015\'s Secret Wars) with a fantastic concept, unmistakably talented artists and an outstanding team of heroes on the page. His approach brought a more mature and wide-screen style to the title, the result becoming a story more reflective of Marvel Studios\' MCU Avengers than previous volumes featuring comic book team. And if the films of the MCU influenced Hickman\'s work, Marvel\'s movie universe was equally influenced by what Hickman brought as well.

In retrospect, however, Granov\'s art appears reads almost as predictive or prescient, as Wolverine\'s introduction -- and likely informal Avengers membership - is imminent.
