Set of 4 estate found, ancient faience scarabs with bright torquoise glaze from Egypt, circa 600-300BC. These were likely made to be drilled as beads, or as votives for burial. Own a genuine piece of ancient history. The box measures 3 by 2.25 inches. The scarabs approximately 1/2 wide by 1/4 high by 1/4 deep. Provenance: Frances Pratt, artist, writer, collector. New York City.
No cracks, breaks, touch-ups or repairs; lovely turquoise blue glaze.
