For your enjoyment? Well, whatever... How about for your consideration, we have this unusual and fairly rare 3B Scientific 15 section transverse anatomy torso. We purchased this from a large university that opened a new medial arts building. Our guess is that Bob did not fit in with the newer, more modern decor. Whether you are teaching anatomy or just have a moroffer sense of style, Bob will make a great addition to your classroom or home.
Bob measures about 51\" tall and 16\" wide. He is sliced into 15 individual pieces that were modeled from real MRI scans. The various organs and other goodies are represented not only on the top of each slice, but on the bottom too. (Only the best for our Obscuretech family.) The 15 individual transverse slices independently rotate around the stand and can even be removed if you take off a retaining clip.
This style of anatomy model is still available new. The new retail price is from $4500 to $5400. Yes, Bob is not a cheap guy.
Bob has a few minor cosmetic issues. (Don\'t we all?) As you can see from the pictures his one ear has a small nick and one of the slices has a small mark.
