Gold assays around .03 ounce per ton. This ore is great for anyone practicing gold and copper extraction. Either with traditional crush and pan or using chemicals to extract copper and possibly gold. Hand dug from our mining claim. Discovered by us fresh deposit, quartz limestone vein. Quartz Vein is around 4 feet wide in Granite. I put through our jaw crusher and classified the material. We scale a 400 foot 90 degree incline to access the mine, and although the copper is at times only surface, I have made cabochons and carvings with our flat lap with this material, and the hematite mixed with manganese quartz Chrysocolla Cuprite and malachite can make even a plain looking piece from outside really pop out and become spectacular. I did take these pictures after wetting down the rocks to show colors in the ore. Tumbles well and takes a very nice polish.

This copper gold ore also contains microscopic amounts of gold around .1 ounces to the ton

Discovered while prospecting when I found a bush of trumpet shrubs known to grow around mineralization. There was only a faint deviation in color of the surface rock that was reddish and somewhat unusual. I had a rock hammer handy and was able to dig up the boulder and underneath was a sea of green Chrysocolla Totally hidden from the sand on outside and no apparent float rock was anywhere in the viscinity. A lucky find and we have been working it periodically for 5 or 6 years. Due to very tricky accessibility we tend to sell out and can only bring so much back at a time.
