This is The Flash #155, 156, 159, 161, 162, 163, 164, 166, 167, and 170, published by D.C. Comics in 1965, 1966, and 1967. These are great books in the classic run of The Fastest Man Alive in the Silver Age. These issues feature classic story and art by legendary writers and artists Carmine Infantino, Murphy Anderson, John Broome, Joe Giella, Sid Greene, Robert Kanigher, and Gardner Fox.

Included are some classic 12 cent issues, and some great reading. Issue#155 is a major Key, featuring “The Gauntlet of Super-Villains”, which is the first full appearance of the Rogues Gallery, as The Fastest Man Alive takes on Gorilla Grodd, Captain Cold, Pied Piper, The Top, Captain Boomerang, Heat Wave, and Mirror Master. Issue #156 has a Kid Flash appearance. Issue #159 has a Dr. Mid-Nite (from the Justice Society of America) appearance. Issue #163 has an Abra Kadabra appearance. Issue #167 has the Origin of Flash retold, and a Green Lantern appearance. Issue #170 features guest stars Dr. Fate, Dr. Mid-Nite, and the Golden Age Flash Jay Garrick.

Thereare also ads for many classic DC Silver Age issues, with titles including Brave and the Bold, Showcase, Doom Patrol, Metal Men, 80 Page Giant Superboy, Supergirl, Jimmy Olsen, Lois Lane, and Superman, Our Army At War with Sgt. Rock, Justice League of America, Batman, World’s Finest, Aquaman, Hawkman, Rocky and Bullwinkle in a one-page Cheerios ad, and more.

Issue #155 is a low grade reader copy, as it has a large piece missing from the top left corner of the front cover and bottom left edge (see picture), and also has a piece missing from the same area at the bottom of the first 13 pages. This is mostly in the margin area at the bottom, so you can still read the story, but it obviously makes it a very low grade. The cover also has creasing and wear with a spine split at the top. Issue #156 has cover creasing and spine stress lines, along with some dirt stain marks. Issue #159 has cover creasing and heavy spine stress lines, along with a spine roll and dirt stain marks. Issue #161 is a solid copy, with a slight bend mark at the bottom right corner of the front cover that extends into the bottom edges of the first several pages. There are also some light spine stress lines, and a small pencil notation on the front cover of “30B” underneath the 12 cent price. Issue #162 has a couple of large thin crease lines near the top right corner of the front cover, as well as some light spine stress, and a pencil notation of “420” in the F of the Flash logo on the front cover. Issue #163 has general cover wear with crinkling, spine stress, and a slight spine roll. There is also a water stain marking along the right side edge of the spine on the back cover, and an edgewear tear at the bottom right corner of the back cover. Issue #164 has the interior pages separated from the covers, with cover creasing, and tearing around the staples area. There is also a 2 ½” tear at the bottom edge of the back cover. Issue #166 has general cover wear and spine stress lines, along with a small edgewear tear near the middle left edge of the back cover. Issue #167 has general cover wear, with scuffing and light spine stress lines. Someone also wrote their name in black marker at the bottom edge of the back cover. Issue #170 has heavy cover creasing and fold lines, and the pages are detached from the covers at the bottom staple. There is also staining/dirt on the back cover. These are classic 1960s issues featuring the Scarlet Speedster, and a key DC addition to any collection.
