An important piece of Carnival history this clown Punk was taken off of state fair Cat Rack which we were told was in use up thru the 1950's ... the family's elders owned a carnival company dating back into the 1930s originating in the southern Ohio Appalachian area. The clown Punk was hand painted which makes it an incredible piece of folk art..it comes complete with the original hinges. The punk originally had sheep wool around the exterior which has completely deteriorated but could most likely be carefully restored.. aprox 10.5 tall by 6" wide with 2.5" oval wooden base
