Lovely print which was carefully removed from a 1947 book about dogs.

The full page measures 7 by 10 inches (field is about 5 by 5 inches).

It is in very good condition - notice faint smudge on the right side and very light creasing.

Morgan Dennis was an American illustrator and author knownprimarily for his paintings of dogs. He began his career as anauthor/illustrator with a special aptitude for portraying dogs.Perhapshis biggest success was his creation for Dewar’s of the \"Black and WhiteScotties\" commissioned and used as advertising by the Black and WhiteScotch Whiskey Company.
