Vintage razor with curved safety guard, double edged. Gold plate with minor wear? No comb. Barrel doesn\'t seem to come off and I don\'t know how to get the safety guard off to change the blades.
Case (3.5\" x 2\" x 1.25\") is nice, with small worn spots on the corners. Grey with blue velvet interior. Hinge is strong, inside velvet is worn but 95% intact (small spot in left hand corner inside is worn).
Blade case is included, and that case is pretty cool in itself - a neat little gold-plated case (2\" x 1\" x .25\") with etched deco-style designs. See photos.
Markings:The velvet inside the case has gold lettering, marked as \"The NEW Gillette, Made in U.S.A, Known the World Over.\"
The razor is stamped with the Gillette logo on the front. On the back it is embossed as \"Reg, Pat Off, Gillette, Made in U.S.A.\"There is no date code, which dates the razor as made before 1951.
The razor blade case is marked as \"Made U.S.A...Gillette... Known the World Over.\"
There is one blade included, inside a paper sleeve marked as \"Rostfreier Edestahl, Made in Germany.\"
