This is an original 1890s amber glass violin or cello whiskey nipper flask over 120 years old.....it would have taken a cork stopper in the opening on bottom of violin..... PAT.APL\'D FOR emb on top edge....detailed neck with tuners on head stock, strings, S holes ,etc.....hand pressed or blown in mold....ground lip.....6 1/2\"long.....Excellent shiny nice condition with no chips or damage. A nice clean bottle with no haze. These figural whiskey nipper flasks were filled with whiskey and given away by saloon owners in the 1890s as Christmas and birthday gifts to favorite customers. They come in all kinds of shapes like pretzel, gold nugget, cigar, potato, pistol, pocket watch, billy club, etc..THIS IS A FIXED PRICE BOTTLE FOR SALE IN MY STORE.
