This sale is for a fourteen piece lot of Spaulding Ware melmac dishes, made in Chicago, Illinois. The pieces consist of three 5\" full size tumblers, one 6\" bread plate, four 6\" saucers, and six cupss. These are in an assortment of colors including red, gold, gray, and brown. They all have the Spaulding backstamp.

These are used dishes in very good to excellent overall condition. They show signs of use(utensil scratches and stacking wear). There are no chips, no cracks, and no burn marks unless specifically mentioned in this description. The tumblers have just two or three minor tiny feather-light scratches consistent with very limited gentle use, or maybe from storage. Surface gloss is excellent. The bread plate has some very minor light utensil scratching. Gloss is still in great shape. Most of the cups have exceedingly minor utensil scratching, with the gray one having just a bit more. The saucers have minor utensil scratching and stacking wear. All in all, some nice pieces to start a collection, or to add to an existing one. Don`t miss out! NO RETURNS: All of the Melmac items I sell have been bought used by me. I have know knowledge of where they have been prior to being in my home. They have been cleaned by me and have been in a smoke free environment since then. Be sure before you offer. Items are sold \"AS IS\" and all sales are final. No returns allowed unless I have grossly mis-represented the items(which I have not). Anyone who collects melmac off of knows that the shipping is a good percentage of your total expense, and shipping them back and forth just isn`t practical. POSTAL RATES HAVE GONE CRAZY(AGAIN!): That`s right! Plum crazy... They just raised them again near the start of 2016. I operate on a an absolutely thin margin, as it is. In order to cope with this situation I am forced to go with higher INITIAL shipping quotes. If you live EAST of the Mississippi River, then you will likely be getting a PARTIAL SHIPPING REFUND. If you live WEST of it, then a refund is less likely. You will still have any overcharge of more than a buck REFUNDED to you. Guaranteed Fair Shipping Charges will continue to be my standard.

ABSOLUTELY NO LOCAL PICK-UP. Please do not ask if item can be picked up locally. It can not.

SHIPPING and HANDLING: I will ONLY ship to the lower 48 states (Not Alaska and Not Hawaii). Item will be sent USPS Parcel Post, which can take8 to 10 days, for $17.00.

IMPORTANT NOTE REGARDING SHIPPINGCHARGES: I am not trying to make money off of shipping! I don`t carefor `s calculator, so I estimate the amount of shipping it willtake to get the item to you. I`m fairly good at it, BUT if I am off bymore than ONE DOLLAR and you are charged more than what it actuallyends up costing, then I will refund the difference. I will NOT refundany amounts of less than one dollar. Sometimes I have to pay some ofthe shipping, and I can live with that. With the cost of gas to thePost Office, tape, magic markers, paper, and what-not, I end up losingmoney anyway.

HANDLING TIME: Your items will ship within two business days after I receive your payment, provided the Post Office is open. If you pay late in the week, like on Friday or Saturday, then the items will ship on Monday.

COMBINED SHIPPING: If you win more than one of my sales, the combined shipping will be the total of the highest shipping amount quoted plus 50% of the other shipping amount quotes(EXAMPLE: If you win three sales with shipping of $10 and $8 and $6, then you would pay $10 plus $4 plus $3 for a total of $17.00).
