Rare Vintage Paper Mache Chinese Opera Singer From Singapore - vivid paper mache sculpture, a Chinese opera singer in traditional Chinese outfit, traditional Chinese facial mask. This is a sculpture from a Chinese incense workshop in Singapore as seen on marks of the bottom of the base. Called Zhengyuanxing Incense Shop, further vetting came up with the following information:The year of establishment of Zheng Yuanxing Xiangzhuang is unknown, but it is known that it was around the 1940s. After more than half a century of changing times, it is believed that only this incense factory is left, and this traditional craft is supported by the third generation in their sixties. The Zheng brothers uphold the craftsman spirit of their grandfathers, work conscientiously, and guard the declining industry in the short future.
