But I Like to write to EVERYBODY IN THE WHOLE WORLD!!!!! That's why I'm on line. And like Bill S I didn't know that you were ALWAYS supposed to address the reply to just one person. Surely it's like a conversation in which different points of view emerge to be commented on. It would otherwise turn into a directed stream of dialogue which would wither quickly on the grape vine, and honestly paul, there are not so many thousands of us posting here that it takes hours and hours to wade through hundreds of posts.

Maybe it's the way that we communicate in the UK and Oz, and it's different to the US,-- in which case maybe we have discovered an inadvertent cultural determinant (doesn't that sound important!)
