I see what you are getting at Ellis, and we both could be right or wrong.But I find that for me, believing in God is easier than not believing, for the simple fact that when in deep trouble or face to face with death It is God who I pray to.We could be alone here on earth but I would hate to know it considering how hatefull this world can be.Some people are just more comfortable believing someone is watching over them.I think that God or no God we are still responsible for our own lives.On the other hand if we are just a result of random natureness, then where do we end up?If we went from chimps to humans, then what will we be next?As of now man is the dominating species.Do you think it is possible that another species could evolve as we did? and if so do you think we would even give them the chance to?
