Creationism is a hoax. Evolution is among the most important theories ever conceived. It is well-supported by the evidence, and refuted by none. It is a foundational theory of biology. Unfortunately, one doesn't have to actually understand evolution to make comments about it. And so there are a lot of people who get their "information" straight from sites like AiG or some religious pamphlet and then pass it on as if it were actual science.
