Wow. Turkey. Is there some contemplated point in your education when you plan to become competent at becoming educated?

A bit harsh there Al given you don't know whether ehd is a 37 year old numbskull or an 11 year old trying to self-educate.

ehd ... with apologies for Al as he is incredibly intelligent but prefers to lead with his attitude rather than his aptitude ... try the link Al provided and also google for "ATP and glucose". If you don't find what you are looking for come back and ask a more specific question or for clarification.

Lighten up Al. You don't have to snap at everything that moves.

The ATP is used to turn oxygen to water. It uses a series of enzymes to catalyze this process.

I'm no expert, but I thought ATP was used during the Calvin cycle (which is dependent on the process of photosynthesis), where carbon dioxide and water are converted into organic compounds.

Hm?

The original question was what happens to the ATP that is made by the plant cells. The ATP is used to reduced molecular Oxygen to water by means of the electron transport system.
