Let's just say we were able to terra-form Venus in a short time period. I understand that it does matter how to the answer, but for the question we’ll leave how to the responder, so how might Venus’ geology be different from that of Earth’s? I understand there is a theory that Earth was very much like Venus is today before a comet almost the size of Mars hit us. If Earth were changed at a earlier time and Venus were changed now how might that span of time modify the outcome of geology on the two planets?

Rallem, do you have any suggestions for the Terra-forming of Venus, or are you just hoping it will be hit by a massive comet?

Bill, the hitting of Venus with a comet or several comets would probably be the best method to terra-form Venus, except the way to do it could only be science fiction for now. Another means of terra-forming Venus could be through the use of factories taking in the noxious atmosphere of the planet, and releasing gasses consistent with an oxygen/nitrogen based environment, but even that would be science fiction. This is the reason I asked people to ignore the process and speculate what differences the planets might have in geology with one being terra-formed at such a young age, and the other at an older age.

It seems unlikely that there is plate tectonic activity on Venus.
Interesting to speculate whether this might support the Mansfield/Preearth theory.

It seems unlikely there are plate tectonics on Venus... Could the planet's climate and conditions be the source of that? If Venus were to be terra formed, could plate tectonics result from that transformation?

It's hard to see how a change of climate could initiate plate tectonics. What other "conditions" did you have in mind that might be able to do that, and might be influenced by terraforming?

I don't think a normal climate change could initiate plate tectonics, but pehaps one as radical as going from a venutian atmosphere with venutian temperatures, and venutian pressures, to one more like Earth's could.
