Both countries are likely to more eagerly court the oil producing countries, whether or not they like it. Both countries are likely to place higher emphasis on renewable energy. Beyond these two major approaches however, the specifics for each country could be quite different (here's a presentation that
provides India's perspective on this).
One can expect India to be a bit more sensitive to world opinion in this regard than China, and I guess that should not really surprise anyone.
