Does anyone know if maggots are sensitive to colour? I know that they are sensitive to light, smell and humidity; also, that flies can see colour.

I am trying to plan an experiment and need to know if introducing colour as a variable will provide me with any quantative results. Or will my experiment be inconclusive?

Tara,
I don't know, however, there's a great resource called "EBSCOhost." Your library probably has it or something like it. Go to your librarian and ask for help. They have a number of tools available that are much better than raw internet.

Good luck,
tff
