I don't think this rule of anarchy is going to do any good for our country. If impromptu gatherings of armed people are going to support people who are not obeying the law, it will lead to the neutering of the federal government. That gathering of people was in contradiction to the laws of the United States, and it has set a dangerous precedent. If the laws cannot be enforced the government may as well not exist. What those people were doing was unlawful, and yet they are being made out to be heroes. Mr Bundy does not have the right to ignore the laws of the United States at his whim. The fact that he has been doing so for years only adds to the wrong he and his friends are doing. Usurping the laws of the land is sedition, if not treason. I predict that nothing good will come of this. If this continues, I fear for the union.
